Silver Linings in Entrepreneurship GNO: Lessons for Longevity in Business

Join LYH Women in Business for a Girls' Night Out designed to celebrate one of the most powerful things a woman in business can do — keep going.

Silver Linings in Entrepreneurship is an evening of honest conversation, meaningful connection, and hard-earned wisdom for women who are building something that lasts. Whether you're just getting started or years into your journey, this night is for you.

Only about half of all small businesses make it past their first five years — and yet, some women not only cross that finish line, they keep running. This GNO is dedicated to those women, and to every woman in the room who is on her way.

At the center of our evening is Suzy Tryall, owner of Sage Tryall Salon — celebrating an extraordinary 25-year anniversary in business. Suzy built her salon and product line from the ground up, and her journey has been anything but linear. It has taken grit, resilience, and the kind of commitment that doesn't quit when things get hard. She'll be sharing an inside look at what entrepreneurship has really looked like over 25 years — the silver linings, the hard seasons, and the strategies that have kept her business not just surviving, but thriving.

This evening is for every woman who wants to build something that lasts — and needs the inspiration, tools, and community to do it.

Galentine's 2026: The Heart of Celebration

You’re invited to a night designed to celebrate what matters most — community, connection, and the heart behind every woman’s journey.

Join LYH Women in Business for Galentine’s: The Heart of Celebration, an elevated, tea-party–inspired evening happening Thursday, February 12, at Spring Grove in Appomattox. Doors open at 6:30 PM.

This gathering was created for women who give so much of themselves in business, leadership, and life — and who deserve a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate alongside women who truly get it.

At the heart of Galentine’s is a simple but powerful belief: celebration is not an afterthought — it’s essential. Too often we move from goal to goal without honoring how far we’ve come or the women we are becoming. This night is an invitation to slow down and recognize growth, resilience, friendship, and joy — in whatever season you’re in.

Through thoughtfully curated moments — shared tea, meaningful words, intentional connection, and collective celebration — this evening is meant to feel warm, welcoming, and deeply encouraging. Whether you’re growing, rebuilding, transitioning, or flourishing, this is a space where you will be seen, supported, and celebrated.

Black & White Soiree Holiday Party

Join us high above Downtown Lynchburg for our Holiday Party on Thursday, December 18 from 6:00-8:30 PM at City View Venues! We are so excited for this year’s Black & White Holiday Soirée created exclusively for the women who make our business community shine.

Our black and white holiday soirée is built around the idea of seasons — the ones we walk through in life and the ones that shape who we are becoming. Seasons of strength, change, transition, transformation, waiting, and everything in between.

Every woman arrives carrying her own story. Some stepping into something new, some holding on through the in-between, some rebuilding, some flourishing. Wherever someone finds herself, this evening is meant to feel like a breath of fresh air — a moment to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

This gathering is about honoring those seasons and allowing connection to be the place where we draw strength for the next chapter. A night to be reminded that we don’t walk our stories alone… and that community makes each season a little brighter.
